Below, you’ll find some of the tools and resources I use every day on my own projects and projects for my clients.

Web Hosting
SiteGround
I have blogged about my love of SiteGround before. In short, they’re my favorite hosting provider for small and medium-sized WordPress websites. They offer outstanding customer support and great features and value for the cost. I recommend them to every website client I work with.
Domain names
Hover
I know GoDaddy is the go-to domain registrar for most people, but my problem with them is that their site is cluttered and confusing in an effort to up-sell you features you don’t need. As a result, I’ve had clients get overwhelmed and overspend.
Enter Hover: Exactly what you NEED and a clean, easy checkout interface to get it. If you are a domain hoarder (like me), you’ll get a discount with the more domains you register with Hover as well.
And P.S. — If you’re not into Google Workspace (below) for email, Hover’s email hosting is also excellent!
Google Workspace
Formerly known as G Suite, Google Workspace gives you all the features of Gmail but for YOUR domain. So you get to use your yourname@yourdomain.com email within all the apps Google has to offer – Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Docs, and more!
I’ve used Google Workspace since I started my business and can’t imagine using anything else.
Don’t need a solution quite as robust as Google Workspace? My second recommendation for email is Hover.com.
Email Marketing
ConvertKit
I’ve worked with a lot (and I mean a lot) of email marketing platforms over the years. ConvertKit is by far my favorite and the one I recommend to all my WordPress clients.
What I love most is that it is a system you won’t outgrow. If you are just starting out, you can create opt-ins, build your list, and email them super easily.
As your business grows, you can use ConvertKit as part of any sort of complex sales funnel you can dream up. With their super powerful automation visualizer, you can perfectly guide your customer journey and messaging with ease.
Social Media Marketing + Metrics
Metricool
Metricool is far and away my favorite tool for managing and measuring social media impact for my business + my clients’ businesses. It’s got all the bells and whistles without being overly costly or difficult to use. I highly recommend checking them out, especially if you manage quite a lot of sites and social media accounts.
Client + Project Management (+ More!) for Service Providers
Moxie
For years I used Freshbooks, but it lacked workflows and automations that products like Honeybook, Dubsado, and 17hats provide. I considered all the options, but then I heard about Moxie and there’s been no looking back! Moxie is a robust and affordable platform that provides tools for client management, project management, accounting, proposals, contracts, invoicing, time tracking, scheduling, and more! But my favorite part is the active community and customer support that comes along with this product. Moxie truly listens to their users, and is constantly sourcing feedback from their users to add to their ever-growing feature list.
